All Star #63 recreation by Layton

All-Star Comics was one of my favorite comics as a kid. Since he had inked alot of issues, I asked Bob Layton if he'd like to recreate any of the covers from that series. He chose this one because it had been inked by the great Wally Wood. I'm a big Wood fan and the cover featured 3 of my favorite JSA characters at the time (Wildcat, Powergirl, and the golden age Hawkman) so I was all for it. I think he did a stupendous job on it.
