Description

This painting represents a major step for me - I moved from being a collector to being a commissioner of art - Armando was the first (of now 6 artists) that I have commissioned art from - It is an entirely different relationship which can be very close and supportive to being just one-off but in all cases the buyer has some influence in the end product - the best results are where you ask an artist to do something he did not know that he really wanted to do anyway and the synergy and contagious enthusiasm results in a masterpiece - I cant necessarily claim it for this painting but many of the subsequent commissions Armando did for me certainly are to me true Masterpieces - This one is a (rare) double portrait of two black pornstars that I lust after Dominique Simone and Ebony Ayes - I also think that black subjects are almost non-existent (sadly) from pin-up art
