Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why?

Although the Frazetta is my Grail piece, My favourite is my portrait of Lola Ferrari which is in full view of my armchair - it is perfectly posed and painted as a commission from Armando Huerta

Please tell us a little about yourself.

I am currently moving into retirement having worked as the finance director of a small corporate finance firm which has provided the finance to fulfil my joy in amassing my pinup art collection since my divorce in the mid 90's - so no female disapproval of my pinups which my daughter tactfully ignores

How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?

In the mid 90's I visited the San Diego Comic Con and on the way back called in on the SF Art Exchange which resulted in the purchase of a Vargas giclee - from there it was downhill all the way to original pin-up art including buying directly from Martinette & Meisel, the authors of the Great American Pin-up and commissioning art directly - which is a particular joy of collecting

What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?

At present I have stopped acquiring as I have no more room on my walls and still cant bear letting any of collection being sold so lack of space! Besides I can appreciate more fully what I already have
