Description
Michael Turner died close enough to SDCC 2008 that the event didn't get into its memoriams. I was surprised when the Image booth had original Michael Turner Witchblade page for very reasonable prices. This is one of two I bought there. It is not a wedding, but a party. Sara makes a scene when Jake tries to show her some pictures and angers her escort. This is a pivotal page, the dark silhouette in the right hand corner is reproduced in the cover above the number and price. In the comics the eyes glow red and in the original, the inker put on a goofy expression with a long tongue hanging out. Being black on black, it didn't reproduce. You can see it here if you look carefully.

D-Tron is very mysterious. I found lots of references to his being the inker for this and that. I found stuff unconnected with comics using that name, including a tech band, but nothing to verify his existence as anything more than a name given on a credit line. He could be like Fowlton Means for all I know.
