Dawnstar!

When I ordered my latest batch of commissions from Jeff, I asked him to draw an old favorite Legionnaire of mine, Dawnstar. When the Legion got re-booted post Zero-Hour, Dawny wasn't one of the Legionnaires that was included with the "new" continuity, unfortunately. I requested Jeff to draw a Dawny as if she'd been a member of the LSH during the run when he was regular penciller, hence her uniform being different from what she used to wear during her time in the Legion. I'm super-happy with this piece - I absolutely love the face, one of the prettiest, most adorable ones I can ever remember Jeff drawing. And what great wings! I'm definitely planning to ink a blueline of this stunning piece of artwork. Pencil on 11"x14" Bristol board.
