DescriptionA good friend of mine and I bought a large lot of gold and silver comics in the mid 80s, and hit the Texas convention trail for the next few years to sell them off. At the Houston shows, these two guys, Jeff (Coop) Jatras and a buddy of his (David?) used to bring us this great art--stuff way out of our league--to trade for comics. The first time, they showed up with Wrightson and Corben pieces. Next show, Adams and Barry Smith, and so on. With the exception of a Corben Creepy page and a Brunner Dr. Strange page, I still have them all, almost 20 years later.Social/Sharing |

A lot of great stuff in your galleries, but for nostalgic reasons, this might be one of my very favorites. I loved Elric and the crossover with Smith's art was so cool!

I have been trying to find a page like this for years! Great page, hard to find a good one with both Elric AND Conan. I'm super jealous.

As a long time Conan and Elric fan, seeing this page is like finding a lost treasure! I've read all the Conan and Elric books and comics and this would be what I call a Grail page! Nice to see it safe and sound in a Fantastic collection.

Very impressive, I wish in the late 70's to mid 80's. I had the sense to buy original comic art. Because I had the $$$ then. Oh we'll maybe one day, I'll beable to afford pages like these. Great job hanging onto these pages too. Thanks for sharing your treasures with the rest of us!
