Description

Ebay Info: Image uses ink, brush & pen, and was recreated from a Xerox of the pencil art. The pencil drawing was published in the 1979 oversized Kirby Masterworks book. Not a "quick sketch", but an amazing original recreated drawing. Illustration is suitable for framing! ( photo is shot at slight up angle to avoid glare.) At the request of longtime Kirby family friend David Schwartz, to avoid questionable sales by less than reputable dealers, all Angel's Jack Kirby recreation work states in archival ink, on the back, that they are a recreation by Angel, and are signed on the front under Kirby's name. Original was done as inking sample and from Angel's portfolio.
