Description

A great piece of pencil prelim art for a DC Calender around 1976 or 1977--Dick wasn't sure which when I bought it from him several years ago. He was even kind enough to "tweek" it a bit because I asked him to make Superman's "S' shield look a little more Giordano-like. He did and as we continued to talk, he went about fixing little things all over the piece. He asked if I wanted it inked, but I insisted that it stay in it's original pencil form. A great piece from a great artist!

awesome piece, unless I am incorrect this was actually for Sea World in Florida to promote the Super Friends ski show that they had then, there were also cartoon tv spots for it.
