Description
These strips which were done for a small paper predate the Little Nemo's but clearly show the direction McCay was heading. Gorgeous, cartoony, and imaginative. Each installment set up the next one with a secret appearance by the next animal-- in this case the mosquito in the upper panel. A bunch of these were found a few years ago. All were lovely, I chose this one. What can I say, I love the monkey doctors and the Imps.
