DescriptionOf the 3 volumes of SiP, 105 regular issues, various variant covers, the sourcebook, treasury edition... this is quite simply my favorite Strangers in Paradise cover of all time!05/10 I recently added the color guide to my collection too! 05/25/2010 I've been meaning to frame this since I added it to my collection; but before I did, I wanted to ask Terry if he'd be willing to ink in the logo that was originally added digitally. He agreed and I couldn't be happier with the results! Just Gorgeous! Thanks Terry! 09/24/2011 Terry posted about this piece on his blog, with the attached pic of me from when I shared the newly framed art with him at Wonder-Con 2011: "You never know where the original art will end up once it’s sold. The pages tend to either find a good permanent home or travel the world from one owner to the other. For instance, the cover art to SiP #5, found a very loving home. Here the owner shows her off in a new custom frame. I have a feeling she’s not going anywhere for awhile. Useless knowledge: I drew this cover at a store signing in Houston… my 2nd ever… and nobody came. It was awful—the only way I can draw a crowd is with a pencil. To pass the time, and keep my head down from hot shame, I drew this cover for my next issue. There’s a lot of detail because I had that much uninterrupted time. Aaah, those eyes, those lips, what a cover! Congrats buddy! I think it was just the other day that I commented on another dream piece acquired by a different collector. I know how much this means to you and as your friend, I couldn't be happier! Well, actually I might be happier if you sold/gave it to ME! LOL!

Terry did Mucha proud! Not an easy feat. The lettering and surrounding inking probably took more time and effort than the main drawing--superbly done! Congrats.

Terry Moore is such a brilliant artist. I'm a big fan of SiP as well. Hope to snag a page by him at some point.
