Description

Incredible Hulk #359 - Unsued Cover by Jeff Purves. Jeff's cover was not used and a new cover, by John Byrne was used in place of this one. Cover is in blue pencil and has not been inked. Cover has the Hulk being attacked by Wolverine & the Thing, with the Abomination in the background and Thor's hammer on the left. Great artwork and cover in person!

that's better than the byne cover, IMHO...just like beta vs VHS.

You know his pencils here are amazingly tight and stunning. I also would have loved to see him ink this as his inks are the BEST over his pencils. Bravo.

This drawing is fantastic! I always liked Purves's Hulk run, and this is a beautiful example. Really great.
