Americomics #3, page 1 (1983)

This is the title splash page to Americomics #3 from the first Blue Beelte story in the issue -- "Return From Pago Island!" AC Comics licensed the Charlton superhero characters in 1983 and published various stories, including this one. "Return From Pago Island!" features the Ted Kord and Dr. Dan Garrett versions of the Blue Beetle. I own the art to the complete 12-page story. AC Comics' hold on the Charlton library was shortlived as DC Comics bought the rights and incorporated the characters into their main superhero line. It's cool how this story is a 'missing link' between the old Charlton Comics and DC.

Next appearance in AMERICOMICS SPECIAL #1 (AC, August 1983). 2nd BB story intended for CHARLTON BULLSEYE before it was cancelled. Shortly after this, DC Comics bought the Charlton "Action Heroes", preventing any more appearances at AC.
