Description

A nice illustration for the first part of the seriial in Colliers in 1927- this was Rohmer's failed attempt to duplicate his success wit hFu Manchu
lambdin is quite good but is overshadowed by his predecessors J R Flanagan and JM Coll

I think you meant "precusor" to Fu Manchu. Flanagan didn't really get going at Collier's until mid-late 1929. This is lovely pen work!

Yes you are right Lambdin had the misfortune to follow JcColl and precede Flanagan both of whom are better known though I think Lambdis at his best was t he equal of Flanagan
