Eric Powell's 'The Goon', getting all abusive with 'Red Lion' (from 'Voltron' - Image Comics, 2003) by Mike Norton, for benefitting the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.

So that's how these people work? Getting violent and abusive for benefitting an organization? Nah. The cause will be: to have comics be comics, goons be goons, goofs to be goofing, pirates to be cussin' or whales to be kissin', how they will. I'm all for it.

Also: note how Eric Powell is calling the shots in this, by directing dialogue with: "read this first!" What a professional! Although Mike Norton's Red Lion (or what's left) seems to simply not be leaving the scene, it has to be said.

Done in 2003, on A3 Blue Line comic artboard.
