Armored Wonder Woman

Aaron Lopresti was the first person who I went to get a commission from. I was disappointed that he wasn't doing color sketches, but I went ahead and put my name on his list anyways. Aaron doesn't do many cons and I hardly ever come to the West Coast. When I asked for an armored Wonder Woman, he replied, "Which one? The Kingdom Come with wings or the Terry Dodson version?" and went on to describe the details of each. I didn't really care and just wanted metal on her. I'm not a WW fanatic but I like how she looks in armor. He went ahead and drew a variant inspired from the Terry Dodson version. Color or no color, this is one of the most jaw-dropping convention sketches that I have ever received. The scan doesn't capture all of the subtle gray tones everywhere. This was easily the best $100 I ever spent at a con. Wondercon 2009
