Description

As someone's who's always been a fan of Kirby's later work it took me forever to figure out how to put them in one picture. Once I settled on the OHOTMU theme it was obvious Ron Frenz would be the perfect guy to do it. Top to bottom, left to right: Silver Star, the Sandman, Ben Boxer, Captain Victory, the Demon and OMAC. Plus a big, big thanks to Ron for going above and beyond and working up the logo.

Absolutely brilliant! Frenz was the perfect artist to bring this idea to life! It begs for a companion piece: Machine Man, Devil Dinosaur, etc. Wow this is fun!

In general, I really like the creativity of your commissions, and, more specifically, I think Ron Frenz did an absolutely superb job with this homage to the Handbook style and Jack Kirby's early '70's and latter-day creations. (Did you choose Ben Boxer because of Kamandi's facial similarities to Captain Victory?)
