Description

For the longest time, I've wanted to commission a piece bringing together the UK's two greatest superheroes -- Captain Britain and Marvelman (or Miracleman, as we know him better on this side of the Pond). But it just didn't seem right to commission it from an artist who wasn't actually standing on Her Majesty's soil, so to speak.

At long last, enter Mike McKone, who graciously took a few moments out from drawing Amazing Spider-Man to create this pulse-pounding pinup.

Thanks to Mike and his rep, Art Shotton, for one of the fastest, smoothest, and most successful commission experiences in recent memory.
