Supermen etc. by Boring

Wayne was the main Superman from at least 1948 to at least 1961. He created the barrel-chested image that still endures today. This is a preliminary for two panels from the last page of "The Past and Future Superman" from Action #561, November 1984. This, according to my best information, is the third to last Superman Story Wayne Boring ever did. In it, red Kryptonite causes Superman to split into Superboy and Future Superman, who, in turn, can split into Superman and Clark Kent. The group photo shows the red kryptonite wearing off and Superman's alter egos reuniting. The comic panel cuts off the bottom parts of the characters and has the disappearing three appearing sketchy. The close up, which is on the back of the page (but under the group shot so it is plainly visible on either side) is the final panel.
