Nathan Ohlendorf - ReBoot - Hexadecimal and Glitch Bob

ReBoot is an old favourite of mine, a brilliantly put together cartoon with designs by Brendan McCarthy and the worlds first 100% CGI TV series. Telling of life inside a computer in the city of mainframe, it broke all the rules and made up new ones as it went along.



Few characters were more memorable than the chaos virus Hexadecimal; psychopathic, genuinely insane and made, her immobile mask face switched to suit her emotions. (And yes, she was wearing leather fetish gear, I LOVE childrens TV, don't you?)



She always had a soft spot for the hero of the show, Bob, who was a system Guardian tasked with the mission "to mend and defend" Mainframe against any assault. Late in the series he had to merge with his weapon, Glitch, and transformed into a literal knight in shining armour, as seen here



This is by Nathan Ohlendorf, best known for his "sad little" cards, in a new style of toon-like art, which I rather like!
