Spider-Man 01

This is a culimation of 4 days of work. Originally it was going to be a NIghtwing piece, then a Nightcrawler. But something about this pose, when turned upside down, just screamed Spider-Man. So, with the aid of photo reference, here we have the web-slinger hanging by his webs in a contemplative position. I'm especially pleased with the final shading on the red portions of his suit and the distinction I established. Etched on 9 x 12 with graphic inks, warm and cool grey markers and (believe it or not) webbing.
