I've always liked this one, and with all the Cochran strips popping up, it's great to come back to this one with a new appreciation for all of King's techniques. This is such a great bridge between German expressionism and Noir, with all that lovely woodcut/Ward sort of influence in it. Really really nice. I can see why it's a keeper.
