Description
Found this on CAF but was annoyed by the comments of the seller that said he was glad Conner Kent was getting beat up because he hated that Superboy anyway. So I felt obligated to "save" this great piece of artwork...when I see this page, I see it differently of course. Although Conner Kent was less powerful by far, Geoff Johns made the point that it was not be sheer power that makes one powerful but a hero's tenacity to endure and more importantly, a hero's friends. I loved this scene because it really made clear the difference between the two Superboys...why Superboy Prime went beserk was because he could not handle being alone in the universe. Conner will always be a hero among his friends and he always could count on them....and he may have been beaten but he lives to fight another day, making him an enduring, iconic hero for our modern age....This is a great page by Phil Jimenez and written by Geoff Johns....Glad it has found a new home here....
