Description
The 222nd National Guard unit of Southern, Utah was redesignated the 222nd Field Artillery in 1940. The "Triple Duece" fought in the Mariana and Philippine Islands of the Pacific and finished their combat tour on Okinawa. Published in WALT DISNEY'S COMICS AND STORIES #48, Sept.1944. Also used on the Mar. 18-24 1945 St. Louis student bus pass.
