Mark Texeira: Liz Sherman sketch

A joyous signing session at my favourite LCS featuring Steve Scott and Mark "Tex" Texeira. Cool guys and especially Mark (who works mostly in the persona of Wolverine -facially at least!!) is insanely talented: he's got all the techniques down, with displaying an aptitude bearing a vintage feel, like Kubert or Steranko. Good times it was, with the men and their 'wo-manhandler' Miss Renee Witterstaetter. I requested Mark to do me a Liz Sherman (from Mignola's Hellboy) which will have put him on the spot roughly. Although I gotta say: miss Witterstaetter charging me 40 Euro's or $56 for a headsketch as she called it, seemed a bit much at the time for something quick, I'm Dutch enough to say that. Lots of people think this sketch remarkable however, so I'm just gonna feel lucky with it. And this is Liz definitely, so that's good too. [image dimensions 9.4"x7.1" or 24x18cm]
