I brought my brother's excellent Ethan Van Sciver Gladiator to the 2009 Heroes Con specifically because I hoped to talk Laura Martin into coloring it with her colored pencils. To my surprise and delight, she left the pencils home and brought markers! Laura must be one of the sweetest and most generous artists around. If you're reading this Laura, thank you!

I have a few Laura pieces myself and since we're both Atlanta natives, I've gone to the Gaijin office a handful of times. She is just an all-around belle and hella talented. That turned out great!
