Description

Michael Gaydos is one of the nicest guys in comics and a favorite of mine. I love his art because of the sensuous shapes and heavy use of inks to create volume. This year, he agreed to fill my commission request even though I'd just emailed him a few days ahead of the con. I was anxious because he didn't make it to the first day of the show due to a blocked tunnel. Luckily, the problem was cleared up by Saturday and he surprised me with this sexy Elric. I guess Stormbringer just had a good day, too! (NYCC 2009)
