Description

This is a commission that I originally tried to coordinate with Alex Horley (Alessandro Orlandelli) in 2007, but time wasn't on my side, and in 2008, he did not appear at SDCC, so in 2009, I was able to meet him and Stacy Walker early to get this masterpiece done at the show. He's an Italian artist whose work on Heavy Metal as well as for Marvel Comics and his fantasy art pieces has made him one of my favories in that genre. The pencils and shading on this piece are magnificent, and this piece was one of the best he's done for me... but of course I'll continue to collect more of his artwork and build my collection every year I have the fortunate luck of meeting him and Stacy at SDCC for a possible commission.
