Description

I know I did this for Charles Vess’ class back in college, the actual piece is on 20" X 30" bristol I believe. I think I did it as a combination of markers and ink. It was pieced together doing the borders seperately and pasting them on later with rubber cement. A lot of work that I did at the time was about experimenting. The seventies were rich with people who worked in many different ink styles, part of what I was doing back then was trying to find my own style (something I still haven’t found to this day). I know I was partially influenced by Jim Starlin and others but it’s almost 30 years old now so it is what it is.
