Description

"Batman and Robin together again for the first time!" I had inqured about a Batgirl piece in Richard Cox's gallery and when I did so I also asked if he'd be interested in doing a Batman for me as well. As fate would have it he was working on this piece of the new Batman and Robin. The new Robin had inspired him when he proclaimed "Crime is Doomed!" Amazing marker work here by Richard and I highly reccommend you check out his gallery.

This is one of those rare occasions where all of the stars aligned and a fresh talent brought a bold new dynamic to a character as steeped in visual tradition as Batman. From the rich blues to the spot-on characterizations (especially the new Robin), Richard hit a homerun with this one. Big congrats, Brian, and thanks for turning me on to Richard's work.
