I got this from Bill Pearson, Wallace Wood's executor. This is a recreation by Dan Adkins. This is a rare instance where I deem a recreation to be worthy. It is by the original artist and is a faithful rendition of the original piece which I will probably never get a chance to own.

On the back, Adkins wrote the following:

"This was the first story I penciled fro Wally Wood. I did it from his breakdowns. I inked about half a day on it as well. It was the last story in the first issue of Thunder Agents. This re-creation is pencil and inked by Dan Adkins. 2009. (Including the Lettering) 100lb Strathmore bristol

This is a fitting companion piece to the "2008 Buzz Iron Maiden Defeats Dynamo" in this same gallery.
