Description
Even before the 2009 Baltimore Comic-Con, I had an opportunity to speak with John Hebert, as the show had a problem with his e-mail address and I needed to call to clarify. Turns out, we're both working for law enforcement entities (he on the state level, me at federal), so we had a nice chat to start out with even before the show. When I found him in Artists Alley, I re-introduced myself to him and his wife. After having him sign a number of old comics, given his negative history with Marvel, I asked whether he'd prefer doing a sketch in the "Anything Marvel 2" book or "Least Expected", and he went with the latter (although should he return to the show, I'm going to have him do something Marvel for me, because he does great work!). He wouldn't tell me what he was drawing and didn't think I'd know who it was when he was done anyway. I didn't recognize the character, but when he told me it was the Dell Superhero Dracula character, I knew exactly who it was! Someone had done a write-up on the Internet about those characters not too long ago, and I recalled the article. This is apparently one of John's favorite characters, and he's thought about trying to get the license. Great sketch!

All points are doubled for remembering, and using, this version of Dracula :)
