Description

This is his bio from the Gallery Program for the unveiling of many of the WW Day works at the Lara Sydney Gallery on October 1st, "Kevenn T. Smith is an illustrator based out of Cleveland, Ohio, who has been heavily influenced by the fantastical illustrations in the Oz books that he read growing up. Kevenn graduated from Illinois State University where he designed costumes for stage productions, including The Mikado. Kevenn worked with a producer of the independent SciFi thriller film, Socket, to create character designs for a comic book adaptation of the movie and has provided covers and illustrations for Oziana Magazine. He is currently working on illustrating a new fantasy/romance graphic novel called Love Spell, which is also in development as a television series. Kevenn strives to create works that convey distinctive personalities and diverse appearances. His work often explores themes such as human equality, human sensuality, and spiritual identity. "

I work to win Kevenn's piece each year that I have gone to WW Day (I missed the first two). I am a big fan of MOTU and love the symmetry of both of these worlds...Thanks Kevenn for your gracious heart and contributing for such a wonderful cause !!!
