Doctor Strange (1968) #175, pg. 14

After Tomb of Dracula, Batman and DD, Dr. Strange was next on my "to get Colan" list. And this page, from the Roy Thomas/Colan era certainly had everything I could hope to find in a Dr. Strange page. It was Colan with his usual bag of tricks, self contained and had an iconic Dr. Strange pose.

First panel is a negative photostat from the artwork that is underneath, and even though it has a tear on the black part (from some previous owner who couldn't stop admiring the piece, no doubt), it doesn't affect the piece.


In all, a truly inspiring piece :)
