MY FIRST SIP ART!

I met Terry Moore, his wife, and sister (in-law?) at the 2004 San Diego Comic Con, theirs was the first booth I visited on preview night. I found myself gravitating back to it time and time again throughout the convention. Each time I couldn't resist just one more item and each and everytime I visited I was struck by just how nice he and his family were to myself and all of the convention goers.

That first night I purchased this page #3 from issue #58 of Stranger In Paradise. Having recently rediscovered my penchant for art after a break up, this page really spoke to me; but the truth is I really couldn't have gone wrong with any of the pages Terry had available. SIP is by far my favorite book, Terry has me so emotionally wrapped up in the characters he's created that I laugh and cry with them, and his artistic renditions are suberb, the fusion of the two borders on perfection. This page is of course no exception.

Pick up a Strangers in Paradise Pocket Book, Volume 1, 16 issues for less than 20 bucks... bet you can't read vol. 1 and not seek out the rest.

Very poignant & significant 'turning point' page in the series after the dissolution of the Francine/Katchoo/David love triangle. Terry wrote this scene brilliantly!
