Saturn Girl by Gene Ha

Gene Ha has worked on such books as Green Lantern, The Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix, Top Ten, and Justice League of America.

If you’ve never asked Gene for a sketch before, you don’t know what you’re missing. In order to get a sketch, Gene will make you entertain him in some way. That some way is his choosing. I’ve seen people take off their shirts and act like the Hulk. I’ve seen people spray paint their hair. I’ve seen people having to get feminine hygiene products signed by Neil Gaiman. I didn’t know what I was in for when I asked him for a sketch at the 1998 FallCon, but I knew it would be interesting.

Gene’s request for me was to get a sketch of myself done by Adam Hughes. The kicker is, the picture had to have Adam’s trademark big breasts in the picture. Thankfully, Adam complied, and I was able to get this sketch from Gene. The caricature still hangs proudly in my house.
