DescriptionThis was done in 1986. Besides pencilling/inking the book, Nowlan also provided the coloring for pages too.A dream piece for me that hangs in my living room. As an added bonus, it's very large as the art is done on two 13x20 boards. Social/Sharing |

Very nice Joe, beautiful Kevin pencilled and inked figures, and oversized to boot! There's an expensive framing job! Congrats!

A true classic from one of Kevin's most highly regarded projects. This book represents Nowlan in the same way that Avengers Annual #10 did to Golden and the New Mutants Special did to Art Adams. The absolute epitome of Nowlan's amazing and brilliant linework. Congrats buddy!

Loved Kevin's art at this age, and I can't think of a better sample that represent it than this incredible piece. Congrats Joe, for this piece and your whole collection! I only wish that you could post a better image...

As I recall, the cover to this book did not really grab me at all and, I might have even thought about passing on it, but, boy, when I opened it up to take a peek and saw this, I thought, "You know, this might be pretty good."

Perfect example of Nowlan's fine-line style of the 80s, so unique and singular. At that size it must look incredible in person!
