Mon-El by Dave Aikins

I attended the Motor City Convention in Novi, Michigan with my wife Kristi during our summer vacation road trip. Dave happened to be sitting next to Andy Bennett, whom I had decided to get a sketch from. We all started talking, and it was mentioned that Dave was a fan of the Legion. I decided then that once Andy was done with his sketch, he'd just give the book and the reference comics to Dave to do his sketch.

Before leaving the con, I picked up my sketchbook, but to my later dismay, left my reference comics, with multiple autographs on each, behind. After getting home, I did an Internet search and found Andy's email address. He was very happy to hear from me, and said Dave had the books, and was just sick about it. A few months later, and after several emails with both of them, Dave did send the two books back. He even slipped in a poster of the Legion that I did not have.
