For a brief time only, I'm offering these rare Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character originals for sale!

This is Leatherhead, created by Ryan Brown (Leatherhead originally appeared in Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #6, August 1987), and later a member of The Mighty Mutanimals. This pin-up is a beaut, if I may say so myself! It was originally published in the Archie Comics series The Mighty Mutanimals #3 (July, 1991).

The original art is in good shape, drawn with brush and ink on DuoShade Board; the two tones were brought out with brush, too (the one that appears light gray had tiny diagonal line patterns in one direction, but the darker tone — bringing out the embedded crosshatch pattern — appears brown on the original and has spread slightly, typical of an older DuoShade original art’s aging process). Image area is 10" x 15" with ample margins beyond that for easy framing; the board is uncut/untrimmed.
