Description

This is a piece by Karl Kesel and is one of three pieces I purchased from him at SDCC 2008. Of the heroes, here , The Thing (playing with the Richards kids) and Human Torch are obvious, Reed Richards and Sue Storm Richards are in their regular clothes. I gather this is taking place on Attilan, in the oxygen-rich area of the moon where Medusa (the one with the hair) and her husband, Black Bolt, (the one with a tuning fork on his head) reign. This is similar to the Moon's temperate zone in the 1960's Dick Tracy where Moon Maid lived.

Medusa was once a member of the Fantastic Four.
Medusa and Black bolt are not only spouses, they are cousins. The main rival for Medusa’s affections is Maximus, Black Bolt’s brother and another of Medusa’s cousins. Attilan is kind of like the Ozarks, except much fancier.
