Descriptioncopic marker commission of aspen mathews at $500.......... this one was very tuff....i've prob only done 13 or so commissions in this medium and am very new to it and sure as hell never done an under water scene....im not a painter or colorist so the technique in new to me....but it was fun trying something new and learning new techniques....i was going for something more graceful rather than sexy.....i think it worked....when asked for a character that obviously fits into a certain atmosphere its easier to put more detail in...like aspen here...is always in water....my list is getting long and im not sure how many more i will be able to take....thanks for lookingSocial/Sharing |

Personally, I think it's Graceful and sexy at the same time. That's my opinion at least. The different tones express depth and you see the shimmer of sunlight on her skin. This raises the level of the commissions you are doing . THis is positively fine art.

It may sound wierd but what an aweome turtle! I love the way you have the light refracting off the water on him. Aspen looks great too! : )
