Description

Rare, all-Steve Rude page from the first b/w series. The art in the first two issues was clearly still a work-in-progress. By the third (and last) b/w issue, the "Dude" caught his stride...as evidenced with this page. He would mostly work with other inkers on the color series (with coloring in mind), and the art was never quite as deep/textured again. Oversized art.

Time for a new comment on this beauty - amazing how fast Steve rose to the top of his game. I didn't realize these pages were oversized art - talk about wall power! This is a treasure.
