Description
Another beauty that was chased down for me by Albert, years ago, as part of a trade. And one that scratches a really big itch for me.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Jim, this is an amazing piece of artwork. I am a HUGE Matt Baker fan. One of the only reasons I collected the old Overstreet price guides was to see all the wonderful Golden Age covers they featured. And of course I always looked for classic Good Girl issues by guys like Baker and Kamen. This particular Seven Seas issue was always one of my faves. I just hope you don't have a Baker Phantom Lady lying around that you plan to post. Seeing something like that just may give me a heart attack! LOL

My first thought when I saw this beauty was, "Is this real?" Like Eric, I used to pour over the pictures of classic covers in the Overstreet Guide and this is definitely one of the more memorable ones.

I came back to visit again. After all these years this gorgeous, seminal original goodgirl cover by the great Matt Baker still amaze me. Would love to see an actual full color scan of the original. Why in the world has no one left a comment since 2011?!

It's because the scan simply does not do this peice justice <wink-wink, nudge-nudge>!  This is most likely the best Baker original still in existence...

Just wanted to pick up the mantle from Tom.  Even three years is too long to not have a new comment on this incredible gem of a piece.  Before I did this, just for fun, I went and looked at the MOST COMMENTED list to see what kind of pieces people were getting excited about.  Nothing on that list (or even ALL the pieces on that list) can hold a candle to this cover.  Gave me a good laugh, if nothing else.  Anyway, will probably be back to vist and comment again.  I may even make it an annual event.  LOL!  I do agree with the comment about getting a nice full color scan posted Jim.  In fact, if you want to ship the piece out to me, I'd be happy to do it for you.  I'd send it back of course.  Eventually.

Thanks, Eric, for checking her out. One of the cornerstones of my collection.

Hope you're are well, and we will get a chance to visit.
