So this is Irv? He was my first labeled "my favorite artist" back in the early 80s when he did Batman. I used his drawing as first fan art. I was sorry to hear he past away a while ago. I had no idea that his career was so broad. Recently I sold the bulk of my comic collection but I keep the Batman issues that he drew. Israel

One of the sadly under-rated Batman artists IMHO. Did solid, emotive work consistently and stylishly. One of the those artists who "They just don't make like that any more", more's the pity.

For me, Irv will always be my Flash artist. He seemingly made a 2D comic come to life. His fluid style was tailor-made for the Scarlet Speedster.
