Description

This is the original line art from X-Factor cover 43. It was published April 2009. I went with a different technique for this cover, testing out the water soluble graphite pencils I later used on X-Men Origins: Gambit #1, along with some india ink ink wash, and white acrylic for effects, on official Marvel boards. Artwork features the first kiss of Multiple Man - Jamie Madrox, and a now adult Layla Miller. Her identity was purposefully left anonymous on the cover to avoid spoilers... so much so that even I didn't know whether it was Layla or Siryn, while I was drawing it.

i really dug this run of xfactor.Youre great art was a huge part of it. what a wonderful composition. a ray of sunshine and spot of romance in the arduous life of being a mutant.
