Description

Jose Villarrubia is very well known for his incredible coloring work. He is also an illustrator and a photographer. Jose was a guest at a comic show a few years back, where I saw him drawing a portrait of Alan Moore for someone. That looked really cool, so I asked him if he'd sketch a Beautiful Dreamer for me. He came up with this distinctive rendition. Jose had this interesting theory that Jack Kirby's women were shaped like insects. Not sure where that came from, but it was definitely an original thought!
