Description

This is a girlie piece by the master Adam Hughes before he became AH! The identifiable Hughes style had not quite matured nor had his public personna evidenced by the "HugheS" signature. It is nonetheless very striking and shows a stage in his development. Adam gave this piece to his grandmother who left to his aunt who sold it to me. At SDCC 2005, he kindly added his AH! signature and confirmed that it is Storm. In 1988 Storm had a mohawk and a different costume. Perhaps Adam was speculating on character design.
