Description
"King-Size Cable Spectacular No. 1" was originally plotted and drawn as issues 6 and 7 (hence the numbering at the top this page) of the regular "Cable" run but Marvel decided to run it as one issue. The book is told from the the point of view of Bishop, who is pursuing Cable across time. In his regular title, Cable was on the run with the mysterious mutant baby born during the "Messiah Complex" storyline. This child (seen here on the 2nd panel) was the first new mutant since the Scarlet Witch had de-powered most of Marvel's mutants in "House of M". Cable believed that she could be messiah that would unite the surviving mutants while Bishop is convinced that she will be responsible for the disaster that created his future timeline. (Bought from Ken Lashley, WW Toronto, 03/2010)
