Description

The inking on this page by Paul Neary is really great. It reminded me both of his work on JLA over Bryan Hitch's pencils and also of Barry Windsor-Smith's style. Bishop is here in pursuit of Cable who is on the run with baby from the "Messiah Complex" storyline. Cable believed that she would one day unite the world's surviving mutants while Bishop is convinced that she will be responsible for the disaster that created his future timeline. "King-Size Cable Spectacular No. 1" was originally plotted and drawn as issues 6 and 7 (hence the numbering at the top this page). (Bought from Ken Lashley, WW Toronto, 03/2010)
