Description

Only the top half of the original cover for this particular issue. However, this is the most important part of that cover as it is a redepiction of one of the most dramatic and poignant moments in Marvel history - the last part of the Master Planner Trilogy (Amazing Spider-Man #33), in which the agonizing scene portrayed here precedes the climactic triumph by Spider-Man over almost impossible odds. It is, of course, not drawn by Steve Ditko but by a true stalwart and great artist in her own right, Marie Severin.
