Description

This page stood out to me because the first panel reimagines a beloved moment from one of Mike's best stories- The Corpse. The original panel had several fairy folk standing around next to some Celtic rocks, contemplating Hellboy's fate, and although the characters were slightly different in that iconic shot, I very much enjoy how Duncan reinterpreted it here. Undoubtedly Duncan is a master, and I thank God he's doing Hellboy these days (if it can't be Mike, i'd rather it be Duncan).

I must admit to being a convert to Duncan on Hellboy. At first when he started drawing it, I thought "Oh no... It's not Mike..." but after a little bit, (couple issues) I love his work just as much. I totally agree, if not Mike, let it be Duncan. Great page from a talented artist who I'm very glad I got to see for the wonderful work he does.
